VINTAGE ARCOPAL MADE IN FRANCE
Highly valued by collectors of fine china around the world. This gorgeous set of bowls are in excellent condition, considering they are around 70 years of age. The glimmering white opalescent finish was done beautifully by skilled artisans in France. These have a mod/retro aesthetic to them, being octagonal. They are fairly transparent, as one of the most sought after qualities of Arcopal. You may see from the pictures, they take on whichever background color you place them on. Absolutely stunning!

“Arcopal dinnerware is white opal, break resistant, tempered glass that includes a fire-glazed finish. The material is 100 percent nonporous and fully tempered to resist thermal pressure. Arcopal dinnerware was fabricated by the French company Arc International in 1958.
Arcopal has a holding capacity five times stronger than china and does not chip, according to the manufacturers. The line of dinnerware includes plates, cups and saucers, bowls and mugs along with casserole dishes in a variety of colors and patterns. All pieces are both dishwasher and microwave safe, and are known for being lightweight and durable when compared to old-fashioned, heavy, expensive dinnerware.”
