The JDS / JDS Fitel / JDSU PS3 Series Polarization Dependent Loss Multimeters measures polarization dependent loss (PDL) and insertion loss of single-mode fiberoptics components, using either the internal or an external source.
The operating range for the PS3 is 1250 to 1350nm and 1455 to 1665nm. The PS3680+25 does includes Optical Return Loss and does includes 1650nm internal Light Source Wavelength.
This PS3 is optimized to 1550nm wavelength.
