Mimicking the look of real windows, these decorative windows are constructed of automotive-grade plastic with an opaque Plexiglas to improve curb appeal without compromising on safety and security. Fits most garage doors Coach House Accents' decor windows are designed to be compatible with nearly all standard garage door styles, regardless of material (aluminum, steel, wood, etc.) or paneling (short or long raised panel, vertical ribs, or flat panel). the exception to that rule is 9' and 18' short panel garage doors. Be sure to measure the outer edges of the stamping (installation) area of your door to determine that the full WIDTH does not exceed 45-1/2 inch and the full HEIGHT does not exceed 16-5/8 inch. With a 3/8-inch WIDTH, installation of the decor windows does not affect the operation of the garage door as it opens and closes. Easy to install decor windows are easily installed in just a few steps with standard household tools. We include an installation template which is taped to the garage door to serve as a guide. Drill pilot holes where indicated on the guide, remove the protective film from the back of the windows, then insert the PHILLIPS screws into the frame installing the rubber washers on the back side. Simply align the screws with the drilled holes in the garage door and tighten.
